I Will

By Marte Stuart

If I might marry again
I would take you, lake.
Undress and dip down
into the surround
of your cool blue wet.

My body buoyed as
you pressure-push
into my curves. Years
softened by your tease,
your ease.

I would tread water,
massage your surface
in broad circles, fingers cupped,
and with whip-kick resolve,
choose you.
