Invisible strings
tie us together
holding strangers
friends, lovers, mothers—
oh, to wonder.
We all wobble
tumble, twist, and fall
dance, shake, bend, and break
until dawn calls.
Laugh and sing, child
come forth
witness
walk this Earth
